White is big this season once again

To open and read a fashion magazine can be a common hobby among people. Beauty and fashion are, on an individualistic society as ours, a huge part of our life. “Fashion is a social change: independent, fanciful, diverse, collective”, French sociologist Gilles Lipovetsky (1994) once said. But flipping through those magazines may say the opposite: fashion is not diverse nor collective, but oppressive and pernicious. Fashion is about beauty stereotypes and white supremacy.
